A Stone Becomes Devine

Once, a motherless lass,
While wondering near a Himalayan rush,
Found a rolling stone,
Pitch black and solid, Oval, and polished,
How long it must have been,
Toppled, rubbed, and eroded,
Finally, to have that curved shape!
Enough! To be a part of a child’s mindscape.

The girl, with utmost care,
Took the rock to her father.
For, she must boast a prized possession.
“Darling it’s a Sailgram!” The father of the Girl exclaimed!
“To have this rare stone,
Is nothing but a natures’ boon!”

The duo were ecstatic,
Now rock is Powered with two conscience.
It finds place in the room, at the corner of north-east.
Daily the girl lit a lamp and an incense stick,
And offered wild flowers she collected from the mountain valley.
So pious was the kid’s devotion,
It brought her incredible humility,
Filled with divine compassion.

She became the darling of the community,
Available to all in their Prosperity and Calamity,
She was help for all difficulties!
Her Normal actions became Miracles!
But one must know its LOVE, which made her so.
One day she revealed to all
It’s the “Saligarm” the source!
They all rushed to the corner where it was kept.
With folded hands and they all bowed!
Thus with the unison of multiple Minds!

The Stone became the Devine.
